Apple has announced that it will soon increase  App Store prices in a few countries including India, Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Russia and South Africa. The new prices will reflect in the coming weeks for the in-app purchases on the App Store . In a post, Apple explained  that taxes and changes in foreign exchange rates have prompted the hike. The prices also reflect a new equalization levy of 2 percent in India, the company added. This will be in addition to the existing goods and services tax of 18 percent. Google has removed three Android apps targeted at children from its Play Store after a report pointed out that these violated the data collection policies of the tech giant. A non-profit organisation, the International Digital Accountability Council (IDAC), conducted research and found that these apps were getting access to the Android Advertising ID (AAID) numbers and Android ID numbers of the users, which is against Google’s policy. The three said apps, namely Princess Salon, Number Coloring and Cats & Cosplay had over 20 million downloads jointly on the Google Play Store and have been removed from the store now. Google has confirmed the same to a tech portal, Tech Crunch . “Whenever we find an app that violates our policies, we take action,” a company spokesperson told the portal. A group of local geology and archaeology enthusiasts who visited the area dismissed the earlier notion, reported The Times of India . According to the report , ammonites were a large and diverse group of marine species that lived on Earth in the Devonian period, approximately 416 million years ago. The BepiColombo has completed its first flybys of Venus and a sequence of images has been taken by one of the monitoring cameras on board the European-Japanese mission to Mercury on 15 October. According to the European Space Agency, the sequence of 64 images that was captured by the Monitoring Camera 2 on board the Mercury Transfer Module from 40 minutes before until 15 minutes after closest approach of 10,720 km from Venus, were taken every 52 seconds and provided black-and-white snapshots in 1024 x 1024 pixel resolution. In the images shared by ESA , Venus appears in the top right, behind Mercury Planetary Orbiter's magnetomoter boom and moves across the field of view.
