Apple has shared a list of products that can cause potential magnetic interference with medical devices. Apple revealed this in a report published on 25 June, 2021. Apple says: "Under certain conditions, magnets and electromagnetic fields might interfere with medical devices. For example, implanted pacemakers and defibrillators might contain sensors that respond to magnets and radios when in close contact." Therefore, Apple suggests that in order to avoid any potential magnetic interaction/interference, Apple products must be kept at a safe distance from medical devices. The Cupertino giant recommends that Apple devices should be kept more than 6-inch or 15 cm apart, or more than 12-inch or 30 cm apart if wirelessly charging. Notably, these guidelines may vary as per the medical devices you are using. Although General Motors will build Honda’s first two fully electric vehicles for North America, the Japanese automaker plans to change course and manufacture its own later this decade. Company officials say they’re developing their own EV architecture, and after two GM-made EVs go on sale in 2024, Honda will start building its own. “It’s absolutely our intention to produce in our factories,” Honda of America Executive Vice President Dave Gardner said, adding that Honda has developed battery manufacturing expertise from building gas-electric hybrids. “We absolutely intend to utilise that resource.” Honda and GM have been partners on hydrogen fuel cell and electric vehicles. Social media giant Facebook on Tuesday said it will publish an interim report on 2 July as mandated by the IT rules, and provide information on the number of content it removed proactively between 15 May - 15 June. The final report will be published on 15 July, containing details of user complaints received and action taken. The new IT rules – which came into force from 26 May – mandate large social media companies to publish periodic compliance reports every month, mentioning the details of complaints received and action taken thereon. Noida : The police in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr district have lodged an FIR against two senior officials of Twitter India over the social media platform putting up a distorted map of India. The FIR was lodged at the Khurja Nagar police station on Monday evening on the basis of a complaint by an office-bearer of right wing Bajrang Dal. The map, which showed the Union Territories of Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir outside India, was noticed on Monday, leading to an uproar by netizens. Twitter had removed that map on Monday evening. Netflix Vice President, Product Innovation, Keela Robison, announced on Monday that users can now watch shows and movies "even if it hasn’t completed downloading.
