Alphabet Inc's Google has agreed to pay $90 million to settle a legal fight with app developers over the money they earned creating apps for Android smartphones and for enticing users to make inapp purchases, according to a court filing.

But even then, some hard-to-treat sources of pollution – in aviation, agriculture and cement making – may linger for longer than we would like.
